Family Day!!

Sorry it took so long to post we have been a little busy. Zoe is adorable but it has been a little bit of a difficult transition. She was crying when we received her and Jordyn was very upset that Zoe was not very smiley right away. Jordyn also gave her a toy that Zoe did not want. We had two crying children for a while but by the time we got back to the hotel things started to change for the better.Jordyn is still having a hard time but things have gotten better. Having Darrin and Amy with us has been huge because when she's upset she goes with them. Today the adoption was made final. Zoe is a great eater and has a good sense of humor. We are in room 1314 for those of you who have the number. Nanchang is very cool and we have started to do some exploring. Here are some pics!!

She's beautiful (as all of the Jiangxi girls are). What a face! Sorry to hear that the transition is a little bumpy. Jordyn looks so happy to have a little sister. Can't wait to hear more details.

So excited for all of you. I know that you were hoping for an easier first meeting, but time together these weeks will definitely help the transition. Tell Jordyn we love her and can't wait to hear about her trip, Logan said especially the airplane. Tobi, Denny, Dillon, & Logan

Hi guys!

Zoe is absolutely adorable. I am beyond thrilled for you. Just looking at those pictures it seems that you've been together forever...it's just a perfect fit...your new family. Adjusting to a new family member is hard enough for an adult let alone a 4-year old. Jordyn will do great though as each day passes and Zoe gets more and more comfortable with your new family.

I absolutely cannot wait to meet her when you get home. Post more when you can.

Love,
Grace & Aidan

Zoe is just gorgeous!! Sorry things are bumpy at the moment, but both girls will settle into their new "normal." It is a lot for everyone, imagining being 1 or 4??

I tried to call this morning, I will try again later. I hope to catch you in the room!!

Love the new pictures! Zoe has definitely lost that shell-shocked, referral photo look and she looks like she's adjusting so well...and I'm glad Jordyn is too. Enjoy this special time together as a new family!
